The Culture ND Summit is a three-day educational celebration highlighting cultural and international diversity discussions and best practices on providing a welcoming community for New Americans in ND through education, entertainment, and food.  These sessions will be focused on Badges (our local ND law enforcement), Business (our local ND businesses & non-profits), and Bibles (our local ND church communities). This event is hosted by Bismarck Global Neighbors, a local non-profit as well as the surrounding community. Cultural groups & businesses from the community are encouraged to participate in this first time annual cultural expo.

Thursday's Event – May 12, 2022: BADGES

@ ND Heritage Center, Bismarck

Thursday is geared towards Badges, local law enforcement and talks about practical ways for them to get involved with our New American community.  Join us for an educational session and panel followed by a desserts social.

Friday is geared towards Business, local businesses and non-profits that support cultural diversity in ND and want to learn more about the ways they can partner with providing career development and diversity in the workplace.

Saturday's Event – May 14, 2022:  BIBLES

@ Gracepoint Church, Bismarck

Friday is geared towards Bibles, local ND churches that support cultural diversity in ND and want to learn more about the various ways they can partner with local organizations in order to support New Americans in the community, cultural diversity, and ways they can sponsor incoming refugees from Ukraine, Afghanistan, and more!

Saturday Night:  5th Annual Global Gala – May 14, 2022

AMC Theatre @ The Gateway Mall

The general public is invited to attend the 5th Annual Global Gala hosted by Bismarck Global Neighbors on Saturday between the hours of 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Cultural photo displays from individuals around the world in their cultural dress placed in ND scenic backgrounds will be highlighted. Those New American representatives will be next to their photos and will be able to provide stories of their time here in ND.  Cultural entertainment and food service will begin at 4:00 pm.  Ethnic hor douvres and refreshments will be provided by African Nomad, Das Mountain, and more!
